BUY GARMIN BRAND ONLINE
Splurge a bit this season, and look uber-modish and sophisticated with Garmin’s brand of tech-savvy products such as GPS enabled watches and activity trackers. Garmin is one of the biggest companies in the world and their highly sophisticated technology is jaw dropping, and truly makes life easier.
Garmin was founded in 1989 by Gary Burrell & Min Kao, and the two simply incorporated the first three letters of their respective names to form the company’s name. The company is primarily known for its GPS based products such as marine, automobile & handheld GPS units. Off late, the company has been busy making next generation wrist wear with highly sophisticated technology integrated within it.
Smart is truly an understatement for Garmin wrist wear. Bluetooth support, water resistant and call function are just a few of the common features their smartwatches have. Here on AJIO, we’re smitten by almost everything they have to offer, but our three favourites clearly are the Vivofit 2 activity tracker, Forerunner 230 GPS Running Watch & the Fenix 3 GPS Sport watch.
The Vivofit 2 activity tracker is one of the most innovative activity trackers in the market. This handy activity tracker featuring an adjustable strap is a go-to companion for monitoring daily activity. More than just the average watch, this device features a Move bar that sounds an audible alert after one hour of inactivity. It has a very long battery life, learns your activity level and suggests a custom daily goal, tells you when it’s time to get up and walk for a certain amount of time, shows steps, calories, distance, time and automatically syncs to Garmin Connect.
The Forerunner 230 is one helluva watch indeed. Described perfectly as a one way ticket to a fit body, get ready to fire your fitness trainer as this watch can easily take his or her place. The watch tracks distance, pace, time, heart rate and VO2 Max. A built-in accelerometer captures distance and pace data when you’re running on an indoor track or treadmill, with no need for a separate foot pod accessory. Once you’re done, it acts as an activity tracker. It reminds you to move after an hour of inactivity.
The Fenix 3 GPS Sport watch truly belongs in a museum as it’s a piece of art. It has a sapphire glass lens design armed with a strong link stainless steel watch band. It’s a great way to get back into shape. The watch has an all-directional EXO stainless steel antenna, with GPS/GLONASS satellite reception. It has the ability to track in more challenging environments than GPS alone. It comes with a 1.2 inch sunlight readable Garmin Chroma Display. It has outdoor navigation features such as the 3-axis compass, altimeter and barometer, tracback and sight ’N go along with VO2 max and recovery advisor. The Fenix 3 isn't just for running. Special feature sets helps swim, train and ski too.
Now that we’ve explained to you what you’ll be dealing with once you’ve stepped into the world of Garmin, why not get right into it and become the most tech-savvy person known to your friends and family. You’re welcome. Love, AJIO.
